Unique to PIRELLI Scorpion mountain bike tires is a continuous layer of Smart Grip Compound. The advantage of this is that the high performance of the lugs is maintained even after a long period of use. This ensures uncompromising grip, both in dry and wet conditions.
HardWall construction
The multiple reinforcements embedded in the carcass provide bead-to-bead puncture protection. They not only increase structural reliability, but also improve support and stability at low air pressures. An additional hard rubber insert directly above the tire bead provides additional reliability for an aggressive riding style.
