The new Mattoc is 20g lighter than the previous model with over 19% more stiffness that the previous 160mm model. The stiffness increase is even higher on the 29″ variant. With upgraded Expert Air spring systems that contain a unique balancing valve that equalizes the positive and negative air chambers during the air fill process. This gives the spring rate a consistent feel without any flat or dead spots in the stroke, along with giving riders of different weights the same initial stroke feel. The Incremental Volume Adjust (IVA) technology further allows riders to finetune the fork according to their weight and ride style. Expert Air has identical performance to Dorado™ Air in a more cost effective package.
